Monday, March 7: Students finished analyzing the documents in the workbook for the Constitution DBQ. They then started writing their essays. The essay must be at least 5 paragraphs, with introduction, 3 body paragraphs (one document for each body paragraph), and a conclusion. This essay is due next class. In the last ten minutes of class, we completed another Kahoot to review for the Naturalization Test in two class periods.

We played Kahoot, Jeopardy, studied with a partner, etc. Students were also given some time to catch up on any assignments they are behind on. Students had a few minutes to review before taking the test. If absent, please come to a lab to make up the test. After the test, we started our next unit on the Industrial Revolution. Students made a foldable for W. 34 and took some notes on a PowerPoint. If absent, download the PowerPoint or see a peer for notes. Students then completed W. 36 about vocabulary the best they could.
