Monday, March 9: Students were given time to work on the final drafts of their newspapers, which are due next class. We then reviewed for the text next class.

Wednesday, March 11: Class began with the test on Chapter 8, including vocabulary. Students then shared their newspapers with each other. Lastly, they did the Thomas Kearns Interactive online (http://www.utahheritagefoundation.org/kearnsgame/index.html).

Friday, March 13: First students did a Read Stop Write with textbook p. 166-168. Students then completed foldable notes with a Prezi presentation of Utah's Struggle for Statehood. If absent, see Ms. Nay or a peer for the notes.
