Monday, January 23: Students were given the class period to work on their DBQ Essays. These are due by midnight on Wednesday. Due: none In Class: DBQ Essay Homework: Finish and share DBQ essay Wednesday, January 25: Students participated in an activity outlining the problems the colonists had with King George. We then viewed the music video "Too Late to Apologize: A Declaration". We discussed the purpose of the Declaration of Independence and the different sections. Students followed along on T. 154-157 with a video of actors reading the Declaration. If absent, please read these pages. Students then completed W. 96. Lastly, we ran the Blow the Roof Off activity.

Students then had one more opportunity to run the Blow the Roof Off. Students were then introduced to their DBQ essay prompts and documents.
