Tuesday, February 19: Students took the midterm essay test today. If absent, see Ms. Nay ASAP for when you can take the test. After the test, students started W. 21 using the accompanying informational packet (found on Documents page).

We then discussed essay test taking strategies and went over the prompts for the Midterm. Students then created a foldable for W. 20 and started taking notes on the Executive Branch (if absent, see Ms. Nay or a peer). Due: None In Class: Started foldable on W. 20 Homework: Current Event #3 Monday, February 4: As a class we went over the Preamble to the Constitution, defining terms and discussing what each part means (the Preamble is in your copy of the Constitution you received in class). Students will be required to memorize and recite the Preamble. We then started watching A More Perfect Union, answering the corresponding questions on the video guide on W. 18. If absent, please read check out a textbook from Ms. Nay and read T. 190-198 and answer questions 1-4 on T. 198.
