Monday, March 14: Today was the Naturalization Test. Students had a few minutes to review before taking the test. If absent, please come to a lab to make up the test. After the test, we started our next unit on the Industrial Revolution. Students made a foldable for W. 34 and took some notes on a PowerPoint. If absent, download the PowerPoint or see a peer for notes. Students then completed W. 36 about vocabulary the best they could.

We then completed a jigsaw activity about the Industrial Revolution. Students rotated through different stations and read some information, completing W. 42-43. Tuesday, March 8: Students started writing their essays. The essay must be at least 5 paragraphs, with introduction, 3 body paragraphs (one document for each body paragraph), and a conclusion. This essay is due next class. In the last ten minutes of class, we completed another Kahoot to review for the Naturalization Test in two class periods.

Next we introduced the prompt for the Constitution DBQ Essay, reading through W. 24-25. We also played a Kahoot to review some of the questions on the Naturalization Test.
