Monday, January 22: Students completed an assignment on the geography of Mesopotamia. They then took some notes on a PowerPoint on Mesopotamia and it's oldest civilization, Sumer.

Students practiced drawing some pictures and then transformed them into letters or symbols with a meaning. We talked about cuneiform and then did a worksheet on which we tried to write in cuneiform.
