Monday, September 17: Today we researched ways to apply the Five Themes of Geography to the US & Canada (worksheet on Documents page). Then, we finished the maps of Canada and the US. If time, students were assigned cultural aspects of the region to research.

In any remaining time, they either worked on the "My Neighborhood Project" or studied for the unit test next class. Students also participated in an icebreaker. They then participated in an icebreaker activity.
In Class: Disclosure Overview Homework: Disclosure signed (due Friday) Wednesday, August 15: Class began with a discussion on what you can do with geography. We defined geography, and then played a dictionary game with some additional vocabulary words. Lastly, students began an assignment in which they pick some of the geography words and create a collage image of them. For instructions, see the Documents page.
