Monday, September 25: Today we reviewed about World War 2. Students worked with a partner to research in order to answer questions about World War 2. Ms. Nay then briefly reviewed the information. Then, the story of Valkyrie was introduced. The class read a review on the film, then completed the pre-viewing portion of the analysis sheet. Lastly, we began to watch Valkyrie.

Tuesday, September 19: Today we discussed how to write a critique. We read a few critiques on movies we have seen and outlined the similarities we see between them. Students then had time to work on their research charts and papers. These are due next week.

The PowerPoint is on the documents page. Students then worked on their research paper. The chart should have been completed last class. Students completed the post-viewing part of the critique. This is due next class period. We then went over the expectations for the semester project. Students began to brainstorm what they want their film to be about.
