Monday, February 5: Students shared their Gilgamesh comics with each other. We then discussed the purpose of laws and went over the creation of Hammurabi's Law Code. Students read through some of the laws and completed an assignment about them. If absent, see Ms. Nay for the assignment.

They then divided into groups and picked a Mesopotamian civilization to create a skit about. They had the class period to plan and prepare their skits. With any remaining time, students caught up on any incomplete assignments or completed an extension assignment.
