Tuesday, November 17: Class began with the 13 Colonies Map Test. Students were given a few minutes to review before taking the test If absent, come to a lab to make up the test. After the test, we went over the founding of the 13 original colonies (documents page, Founding of the 13 Colonies ppt) and completed W. 62-63. If absent, please download the powerpoint and complete the chart. Students then had the rest of class to type their final drafts of their colonies comparison essays. These are due next class.

If absent, find the doc on the documents page and transcribe into your workbook (W. 64-65). Come to a lab to go over the notes with Ms. Nay to explain them. We then completed the Colonial Economy assignment on W. 66-67 using the accompanying packet (if absent, find the packet on the documents page). Students then read Blood on the River. They should be completed with chapter 7 at least by the end of the class period. Students answered the following questions from the study guide (available on docs page): Chp. 6 Q. 2, Chp. 7-8 Q 1 & 3, Chp. 10-11 Q. 3, Chp. 12 Q. 1.
