Tuesday, February 2: Class began with an introduction to the Preamble of the Constitution. Students are required to memorize the Preamble and recite it to Ms Nay by February 19th. We then learned about the Articles of Confederation, which was the United States' first form of government. Students were introduced to the Articles with a Prezi (see link below). If absent, please review this Prezi before completing the assignment to help understand the Articles. If you are confused, please see Ms. Nay in a lab for help. Students then worked on W. 2-5 with a partner. The assignment has students analyze different aspects of the Articles and apply them to different situations.
