Monday, September 12: Today students received a few minutes to touch up their tribe research. We then took a few minutes in class to discuss the events of 9/11 and answered student questions. Students were then divided into groups to create a presentation on the region they researched. Groups will present next class (they will have a few minutes to finish their preparation next class). If they finish early, they may finish their physical features maps. If absent, be sure to contact your group to know what you need to do to help them be prepared.

As each group presented, students completed W. 16-17. If absent, please use T. 29-33 to complete W. 16-17. We then reviewed for the test next class period. Lastly, we went over which pages will be due in the workbook next class period (Ref B, W. 2-14, 16-17). Friday, September 16: Class began with the Unit Test on the First Americans. If absent, please come to an after school lab ASAP to take this test. We then learned about Pre-Columbian Europe and took notes on W. 22. If absent, see the Documents page for the Powerpoint notes (to be uploaded on Wednesday).
