Monday, November 2: Today was our Pow-wow! We wove bracelets, made dreamcatchers, and competed a Native American Internet Scavenger Hunt. If you were absent, find the scavenger hunt on the documents page and complete it.
Due: None In Class: Native American Internet Scavenger Hunt Homework: Work on Unit Project Wednesday, November 4: Today we went over the Ute portion of the UTJ Chapter 3 Powerpoint and added the notes to the chart on W. 29. If absent, find the PowerPoint on the documents page. We then watched the Ute episode of We Shall Remain and completed W. 35 (if absent, try to answer the questions on W. 35 with the internet or come to an after school lab to watch the video). We then went over the Powerpoint on the Spiritual Side of the Native Americans of Utah and created a foldable on W. 40 (if absent, find the Powerpoint called "Indian Mythology" and take some notes on W. 40). Due: None In Class: Ute part of W. 29, Ute Video Guide W. 35, Spiritual Side notes W. 40 Homework: Work on Unit Project Friday, November 6: We added to our historic tribes chart on W. 29 with the Shoshone (if absent, get powerpoint UTJChp3 from documents page and complete Shoshone part of chart). We watched the Shoshone episode of We Shall Remain and completed W. 34 (if absent, try to answer the questions on W. 34 with the internet or come to an after school lab to watch the video). We then went over a Powerpoint on the impact the tribes have had on Utah and made a foldable for notes on W. 40 (if absent, find the Powerpoint called "Influence of NA on Utah" and take some notes on W. 40). If time, we began working on the test review questions on W. 42-43.
