Tuesday, November 25: Students have time to write their tall tale on p. 59 of the workbook. Students are then introduced to the Mountain Man Facebook project. The instructions are on p. 60 of the workbook. Students were randomly assigned a mountain man to research (if absent, see Ms. Nay for your assignment). Students then had the rest of the class to begin researching their mountain man using the grid on p. 62-63 of the workbook. Over the next few classes, students will complete their research (recording sources on p. 60), write a paper on their mountain man, and create a Facebook poster for their mountain man. These will be presented at the rendezvous.
