Tuesday, April 2: Using the old textbook, students completed W. 46, making lists of our rights and obligations as citizens of the US and of Utah. They were then introduced to the Progressive Era, watching some video clips to explain some of the reforms that took place during the era. Students completed W. 52-53 using T. 234-236).

First, students took notes about WWI on W. 54-55 (if absent, find PowerPoint on Documents page). Next, we watched part 1 of War, Depression, War and answered questions 1-5 on W. 56 (if absent, come to a lab to watch the ten minute video clip). Finally, students took notes on W. 58-59 on propaganda during WWI and the purpose of political cartoons (PowerPoint on documents page).
